A spicy, juicy Buffalo Chicken Burger topped with a creamy whipped feta spread—the ultimate balance of heat and tangy goodness!

Ingredients:

For the Chicken Burgers

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ¼ cup buffalo sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

For the Whipped Feta Spread

  • 4 oz feta cheese
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For Assembly

  • 4 burger buns (brioche or sesame seed buns work great!)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Red onion slices
  • Extra buffalo sauce (for drizzling)

Directions:

1. Make the Whipped Feta Spread

In a food processor, combine feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy. Set aside in the fridge while you prepare the burgers.

2. Prepare the Chicken Burger Patties

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, buffalo sauce, panko breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

3. Shape & Cook the Burgers

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form into patties. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp of 165°F / 75°C).

4. Toast the Buns

While the burgers cook, lightly toast the burger buns in a dry pan or on the grill until golden.

5. Assemble the Burgers

Spread a generous amount of whipped feta on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Place the Buffalo Chicken Patty on top and drizzle with extra buffalo sauce. Add the top bun and serve immediately!

Notes:

  • For extra heat, add a few jalapeño slices or hot sauce to your burger!
  • Swap the brioche buns for lettuce wraps to make it low-carb & keto-friendly.
  • Want it cheesier? Melt blue cheese crumbles on top of the patties before serving!
